First off let’s go through this week’s looks! Stay tuned for a sneak peak into my thought process for the Spring Wardrobe.
Look 47: I recycled Look 31 but changed the shoes! I’m so tired of wearing winter boots and ready to pull out my pumps out from my closet. Gold turtleneckis from Ann Taylor and the white cords are from Banana Republic. The mini cowboy boots are Bakers (I’m thinking of transitioning these shoes to my Spring Wardrobe as they really weren’t wore this Winter Wardrobe.
Look 48: I was surfing through Pinterest and took my inspiration from the pin below for today’s look.
I would have worn my mini Bakers cowboy boots but the snow has been melting so I decided to go with something a little more waterproof like my knee high boots.
Look 49: I was in a hurry this morning so I grabbed my Limited graphic lips sweater, Calvin Klein skinny jeans, and my knee high black Cole Haan boots.
Look 50: I am really loving this BCBG Max Azria dress that I picked up at Dillard’s in St Louis. It jas proven me worth to stay in my wardrobe, so you may see this in future ones to come! I wore this dress with my wool tights and black knee high Cole Haan boots. The butterfly necklace was an antique find, leather band and wings detailed with pearl. This is a great necklace because it hits my collar bone perfectly! I definitely recommend for you to find your perfect necklace length.
Look 51: When you want to experiment with your wardrobe, it’s not a good idea to just grab and go. You want to try the outfit on first! Well I went to the gym early this morning and didn’t test my look out beforehand so this is what I ended up wearing, lol. I layered my Limited chambray shirt under my skater dress and accessorized with a skinny brown belt to match my boots. I also tried out this necktie from a fabric belt that goes with one of my dresses, not included in this Wardrobe.
Look 52: I am ready to rock! Faux leather leggings from Club Monaco and my leopard print button up shirt, finished this look off with my black moto boots!
I am so sick of this snow! I can’t wait to start wearing my Spring Wardrobe, come out sun!!! I am starting to think about what I want to focus on and what trends I want to try. I’m thinking about two specific looks: That 70’s Show and A Paris Picnic. Check out my post on Spring Trends to find some inspiration for your wardrobe!
I just wanted to give you a sneak peak for one of my Spring Wardrobe: Statement Stripes!
I snapped this photo of an outfit by Alice & Olivia, the combination of statement stripes and the floral top is tres chic! The shorts cost $275 and the blouse is $198.
Here is my look for less, I found this black and white skirt (very similar to the shorts) at Target for $24! What a steal! When planning your outfits don’t be afraid of finding a luxe version on the cheap, though make sure that you have a great balance between the two. Spend money on classic pieces and save on trendy ones.
