So this week I realized how behind I am on the 90 days of my Winter Wardrobe. The week I was sick, all the snow days, and especially the weekends where I wore my PJs all day long because I never left the house! I’d like to slowly catch up so that I can be on time for my Spring Wardrobe coming April 1st. Also this has been a slow week for me as I haven’t been out much. Though I will be in New York City soon so stay tuned for my next city trip post!
Look 37: For this look I turned my Limited graphic lips sweater inside out as an experiment. I think it looks pretty good! The only thing is if you are trying this out at home, don’t forget to take off the tags! Also the seem didn’t look so bad either, I’ve actually seen this seem look on Henley tops. Plus the black band at the bottom made this sweater “look” like it was meant to be worn like this. I made this look a little edgy by wearing my faux leather leggings from Club Monaco and my knee high black Cole Haan boots. Also enjoy the blooper pics of my little Nuggies grasping for my attention. Meow.
Look 38: Since it has been so cold I was not really able to wear a T-shirt without a sweater, so this Marsala inspired Banana Republic Tee hasn’t been seen much this Winter Wardrobe. Though it fits perfectly with my Forever 21 Tribal Sweater so I can’t complain. I paired this with my Express black leggings and my Cole Haan knee high black boots. I love how the darkness of the bottom half really brings out the fringe from the sweater, something I think gets lost with jeans or colored leggings. I also framed my James Avery Texas charm necklace with a gold necklace from Premier Design. Think of jewelry framing as you would frame a photo, a pretty/statement photo (or necklace) with a simple uniformed frame (meaning the necklace should be the same size and shape all the way around).
Look 39: Instead of turning the sweater inside out this time I just wore it backwards! See my graphic Queen of Spades sweatshirt has a small print in the front and the larger print on the back. I simply wore it backwards and covered up the back with my Limited purple blazer. How inventive am I this week? I kept this look simple with my Calvin Klein skinny jeans and my Sorel snow boots. I also pulled my hair up into a messing ponytail and wore my big gold hoop earrings that my mom gave me.
Look 40: I kept this look simple with my Limited colorblock sweater and my Banana Republic skinny white cords. It was an easy outift to throw together and I accessorized with a round gold medallion necklace from Ann Taylor and my Cole Haan over the knee brown boots. I love these days…no thinking…dress and go!
Look 41: Again another simple Winter Wardrobe outfit! Ann Taylor stripped shirt with my acid faded black Bebe leggings and my black knee high boots. I love how the stripes begin lower from the neck on this top, it’s almost like a canvas to show off jewelry before the stripes start. Plus the charms don’t get lost as they would with a fully stripped shirt.
Look 42: My last look of this post for my Winter Wardrobe was also very simple, my chambray jean shirt from the Limited with my New York and Company grey skinnies. I paired this with my Marsala inspired Toms wedges though I was working from home today so I didn’t go outside, if I had gone out I would have put on some snow boots! This had to have been one of my most comfortable outfits. Plus Mr. Nuggies made an appearance again!
