This week I finally went in for a Fraxel treatment! For those of you who don’t know what Fraxel is click to read the official site documents. I use this treatment to help with my acne scars. I grew up with acne problems and never really saw a dermatologist. My pimples would pop or heal but leave a scar, sometimes it was just a dark mark other times it was a full on scar that hasn’t healed. Fraxel is a skin resurfacing treatment, that means it hurts like a B*%$&! You have to def be mentally prepared for this and can tolerate high levels of pain. After the procedure, my skin was so inflamed and you could start seeing the laser spots that penetrated deep in my skin. I didn’t bleed this time but my face felt like it was on fire. It’s been about a week now and I have scabs over the small pinhole marks on my face. For this post I will show you how it’s been so far but I am hoping to do a separate post to include the whole Fraxel process……stay tuned.
It was COLD this week so I spent most of my looks trying to keep myself warm. The month is almost over and Halloween is this weekend. We usually dress up with our cat (pause for laughter or eye rolling) but now with the little guy I haven’t had time to even THINK about a costume. Luckily my sis helped me out and sent me one for the baby! Enjoy this weeks’ looks!
Look 22: No time to dry my hair! This outfit was inspired by Fendi FTW Fall 2016, pink over blue. Now I don’t have blue pants but my dark blue jeans worked out just fine. The white heels throw me off a bit. Maybe next time I will balance it with white on top.
Look 23: I had to run errands so I kept this look simple by pairing my blue sweater with my Diesel boyfriend jeans and I wore my metallic grey flats again. These flats are falling apart! I def need to get new ones for next year. Though the question is should I get the same color/style or something new? At the end of my Fall Wardrobe I’ll write a post on my favorite items, most used, and ones that need to be replaced. Let’s see where these shows land.
Look 24: This is the first time I wore my black lace layering top. I bought it at TJMaxx for $12 to use over these short sleeve dresses. It was a simple way to change the look of my BCBG artsy dress.
Look 25: I love this paisley dress! Not because of the print, but because of the color. These are def in my color forecast and the dress fell perfectly into my wardrobe! The purple blaze is recycled from a previous Spring Wardrobe, which really shows you that it’s good to take the time to build these and you’ll have pieces in your closet that you actually wear.
Look 26: This was such an easy match. The only thing I didn’t like is the length of the black and white polka dot shirt, it kept riding up and my skirt sits low. Love the way the cut of this skirt shows off a little leg from the thigh high boots.
Look 27: I received so many compliments on this look, so you may see it repeated but I’ll have to think of a different way to wear it so that it’s not a complete knock. The dress is a little short but the boots help cover up a lot of leg. The necklace is now my go to jewelry piece. It works so well with my Romantic Bohemian theme.
Look 28: I did not like this outfit at all. I hate these pants and dread grabbing them from my closet. The snake print shirt makes me look frumpy. This was a total miss. 🙁
